My sister was born with cerebral palsy,14 years ago. When my mother was pregnant with her ,I felt more expectant. I couldn't wait to cuddle her all night, play with her all day and give her all the kisses and the love of a big sister. On May 17 2009, she made her screaming entrance. I couldn't help but giggle with happiness, for a minute. The doctor informed us that she had developed a brain injury hence the cerebral palsy that would leave her disabled for life. My heart shrunk and my head spinned in disbelief. I was devastated. With this final report from the doctor, I purposed to find a greater person, with a better report .So I sought the Lord. It was a battle of 12 years that unfortunately ended with a loss, so I thought, but God had better plan . It was not until my sis was gone that I turned around and realized , that i had found peace in the most disturbing situation, I had learnt to laugh with a broken heart and I was able to hold on to hope even when all seemed lost. Where else would I had found such strength in this shaking world? I realized that life is not that hard after all , even the bad things that happen to us eventually turns out for our good.If we could all understand this mystery, then we would discover peace and happiness . #lifesGood #lifesGoodstory #LGEastAfrica #WinWithLG #LG
