As I grew into a teenager, I had to learn handwashing clothes. As time went by I really loved washing the clothes.
However, when I became a mum, hand washing clothes became un interesting chore. All the stains, the hard dirt, the long hours of washing and still the clothes couldn't come out completely clean.
One particular Saturday, I was supposed to start washing early in the morning, but somehow I was too lazy to do it. So I decided to do it in the afternoon. I left the children in the sitting room and proceeded to the bathroom to wash. An hour into washing, they decided to play with the wheat flour and apply it everywhere from their bodies to the couch. When I went into the sitting room to check what they were upto, I almost faked fainting. I wondered, "who was going to do all the cleaning?".
So now I had to abandon the washing and deal with the mess in the sitting room. I started by dusting their heads, which were filled with wheat, then bathed them and then dealt with the sofas. The cleaning almost took me almost three hours. Will never forget that day.
